Messermeister Maintenance Honing Steel

Messermeister Maintenance Honing Steel

Fine Cut Round Profile

Messermeister Fine Honing Steels are milled with fine grooves to safely and quickly align your edge. With their fine cut and round profile, they are ideal for regular maintenance of knives.

For All Kitchen Knives

Messermeister Fine Honing Steels are made of high carbon tool steel and engineered to work on any kitchen knife, even the hardest modern blade steels.

Choose From Two Sizes

Messermeister Fine Honing Steels are available in 10" or 12". Choose the length that best fits your knives and your storage needs.

The soft-touch ergonomic handle includes a hang ring and flared hand guard.

This is a  Fine Steel. It will work well to maintain a fine slicing edge on a slightly dull knife, but will not be an efficient choice to take a damaged knife back to a cutting edge. Fine Steels are used in situations where a more refined, less toothy edge is required for finer slicing. They can be used alone or after a Standard Steel to continue the sharpening process.
